Location
THE NEIGHBORHOOD

PISTACHE is the ideal apartment to rent for a unique Paris rental experience.

PISTACHE is ideally positioned just a short walk from the pedestrian street rue Montorgueil
with its famous food & produce market.  This neighborhood retains its quaint village feel yet
is in the heart of central Paris. On the rue Montorgueil you will find bakeries,
fromageries,
fresh fruit & produce,
patisseries, many French and ethnic restaurants and bistros and
designer shops.

A few minutes' walk further you will find the Louvre, and the Palais Royal gardens, as well as
La Bourse” the French stock market, Place Vendome, Rue St. Honore,  the Seine and all of
the tourist attractions of Paris.

Just a few minutes in the other direction you will find yourself in the Marais, a traditionally
Jewish and now chic, artsy, and gay neighborhood; one of the few places in Paris where
things are open on Sunday!  There you are surrounded by historic “
hotels particuliers,” and
within a short walk of some of Paris’ best museums: the Musee Picasso, Centre Pompidou,
the Musee Carnavelet, and the Hotel de Sully, as well as art galleries.

If you want to sample what Paris shopping has to offer, wander into any of the one-of-a-
-kind boutiques that are scattered throughout the Marais. A further 10-minute walk will
take you to the Notre-Dame Cathedral or even the Ile St. Louis, and a few minutes beyond
that lies the Latin Quarter and St-Germain-des-Près.

Of course, you are also only a 2 minute walk from the
Metro Line 4 at Reaumur-
Sebastopol
and from the Metro Line 11 at Arts et Metiers.

Chatelet and the RER A Metro line, that will take you directly to La Defense, is a mere
10- minute trip from the flat (either by foot or by Metro Line 4 to Chatelet and then walk
down to the RER A Chatelet), and then a quick ride to La Defense.
